Welcome.

NEXUS was an experiment in narrative cubism in video installation. It premiered on Saturday the 13th of December, 1997, at the Garson Communications Center in Santa Fe, NM. It consisted of a seven channel, semi-synchronized piece that repeated and developed in six cycles. The seven channels began synchronized, grew out of phase and then re-synched by the end of the sixth cycle. Each cycle was approximately 18 minutes long.

The narrative plot of NEXUS surrounds Maureen, an apparition, an A.I., a mystery. The six remaining characters are all connected to Maureen in some way. When they begin to encounter each other, information seeps through. The plot is constructed to entice the voyeur. Only the curious will learn what NEXUS is about.

Because of the nature of the piece the screenplay is in hypertext. If you have any comments, questions, suggestions or corrections please feel free to write to me. I encourage your input.

Enjoy...
